Jayden Yoon Zeng Khai


Jayden Yoon Zeng Khai (traditional Chinese: 袁正凱; simplified Chinese: 袁正凯; pinyin: Yuán Zhèng Kǎi) was born on 20th of March, 1997, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. A Malaysian-Chinese entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor, singer/songwriter, musician, composer, producer, director, writer, actor, designer, photographer, programmer, dancer, beat-boxer, best known as an ARTist and the Founder & CEO of JaydenART® Inc., based in California, USA.

Yoon is the son of Jeffrey Yoon Yoo Nam and Wendy Low Yuet Yee. He is the youngest in the family, he has a 2nd Jacob Yoon Zeng Yew, 3rd brother Joseph Yoon Zeng Keong, and the eldest sister Jaclyn Yoon-Hogan.

Yoon started painting at the age of 4 and won International Coloring and Drawing Contest organized by Save the Earth Foundation in the year 2003. He began playing piano at the age of 9 and was placed 1st in Vilma Tampus piano competition in the year 2006.

While he was in Malaysia, he has won Malaysia’s Top 10 Outstanding Awards 3 times in the year 2012, 2013 and 2014, and won Malaysia’s Top Online Voted Award in 2013. He has also won twice in National Robotics Competition with his teammates, Andrew Ang Lu Hiong and Steven Tan Boon Keat, held by SASBADI, Government of Malaysia, and supported by The Lego Group, in the year 2008 and 2009. In the year, 2010 he won Sabah Art Selection Competition organized by Sabah government at Sabah Art Gallery.


Yoon started his career at a very early age and participated in over 400+ competitions all over the world. In 2004, he was placed 1st in Global Art & Creative International art competition. He was awarded by Sabah Child Welfare Association for his artistic talent in 2005. Later that year, Yoon also won a Family-day art competition organized by Korean automotive manufacturer Hyundai. He was awarded Top 10 Outstanding Awards organized by Disney • Pixar in the year 2012, 2013, and 2014.

In the year 2013, his artistic talent was recognized by Sabah Institute of Art and was invited to teach at the institute as a lecturer. Due to his young age and a busy schedule, he was unable to accept the offer, but to show his appreciation and support, he took a short course in 3D animation at the Institute and was awarded the certificate of achievement. He has also won Best Student of Music Award 4 times from 2010 to 2013 for his achievements in music.


Yoon began freelancing at the age of 10, since 2007. After his many appearances on local newspapers, and online presences, many companies have offered him a full-time job, but due to his tight schedule, he preferred to only be a freelancer at that time.

In 2010, Yoon was approached by Hackulous, an iOS Jailbreaking company, to design their app icon “Installous” from Cydia. Yoon was a designer at FOLLOWBIRD in 2011 – 2013, he designed and coded the entire website as well as the company’s logo. The company was based in the UK that offers twitter services. Without any notice, the site was later taken down in December 2013 after a took over by another company. Despite working at FOLLOWBIRD, he has also done some side jobs, one of them is designing T-Shirts for Threadless, a US-based company. In 2012, Yoon was asked by the CEO of D-CAPTURE STUDIO, a Malaysian video production company to work for them as an editor and designer. He worked as an editor, sound designer and designed some icons and the logo for the company.
